Sneaky Peeky | Westchase Children's photographer

This shoot had been in the works since February... rescheduled three times.... and finally this past weekend we were able to make it happen despite the sauna outside!  This is my 3rd time photographing this family!  And every time I so look forward to it!  How adorable are these kids?  Here are two sneak peeks for now.

26 years of service! | Tampa military photographer

This past Friday I had the honor of photographing a military retirement ceremony over at Mac Dilll AFB here in Tampa.  A flood of memories came to me as I drove through the gate.  It had been a very long time since I had been on the base.  I grew up a military brat all over the country and over seas.  I'll be honest... I hated it at the time, but have fond memories as I look back on it now.  It definitely shaped me to be the person I am today and I have friends ALL over the place!

It was a beautiful ceremony and the kindest words were said of this officer!  He had friends come from all over...  The only down.... the HEAT!  It was a sauna out there!  And these poor men in their uniforms.  I can't imagine!

One of my favorite shots!  He gave both of his sons coins.  I remember when my dad retired he gave my sister and me a shadow box with his wings in it.  These coins will become even more special to these kids as these they get older!

PINKBERRY ribbon cutting

This past Thursday was the Westshore Business Alliance ribbon cutting at the new Pinkberry location at Westshore Plaza.  I had the pleasure of photographing the occasion.

Meet Andrea

an amazing and inspirational woman!  We worked together back in the day at the Gap but it wasn't until after I had my daughter that I ran into her again at the YMCA.  I take her classes throughout the week and they kick my a$%.  After taking her classes for over 4 years one would think I would look as good a s her.... LOL!  Not so much.  Call it poor diet!  Andrea is AMAZING!  She has such a passion and it shows!  Here are a some shots that I took for her website.  And if you are looking for a trainer!  PLEASE give her a call!!!!!

Facebook.... my husband hates it and thinks it's the demise of society... however I don't share the same view.  For me it's been a GREAT way to keep up with friends and reconnect with old friends from my past. Case in point, my friend Ryland from high school.  She lives over on the East coast and was coming over to the West coast for the holiday weekend.  After  reconnecting on Facebook, she asked me to photograph her family and I was quite honored.  I believe we've had this in the works since November!  So... see, Facebook can be a good thing!  LOL!

How about these adorable twins???  We met at Selby Gardens down in Sarasota.  It was a gorgeous day but just a tad bit too hot.... welcome summer!
