Strawberry pickin'...

And yes, this was today! (Envious???) It was a BEAUTIFUL day. Just perfect! A couple of years ago a friend of mine found this place, Parke Family Hydofarms. It's soooo easy. It's organic. And you can stand up and pick! I have been taking Brooke there ever since.











After we were done picking 5 pounds of berries I treated Brooke to a strawberry shake and shortcake at Brandon Farms off of State Rd. 60. It was absolutely sinful!!!! I have frequented this place for YEARS! It's worth the drive of over 20 miles! I meant to take some pics of that... next time... and oh yes, there will be next time! Strawberry season is just beginning!!!! :0)
